Is this different from last year's Bliss Project?
Yes! We will have some different lessons, meditations, coursework and speakers! There will definitely be some of the same theme but with many different exercise breakouts.
Is this the same as the Bliss Habit?
No! We’ll use a few of the same tools that help us get to certain outcomes, but many will be different. In addition, there’s nothing like the in-person connections and experiences that happen at a weekend like this – you could never have this experience online. There are breakthroughs that are made simply by talking through things and creating face-to-face experiences in a loving environment.
What does the weekend look like?
FRIDAY – We have an outdoor VIP event in a beautiful rose garden with fires and music that I highly recommend. It’s a great chance to get to know the speakers and the women who you will be going through the weekend with. It’s full of appetizers, wine (if you choose to partake) and ice breakers so we can bond the group. If you’re shy or feeling timid, this is a must so we can shake off any nerves and get you settled into the weekend. If you love to meet people, this is a beautiful opportunity to start finding your tribe and networking! We share stories of why you came and also give away some really fun surprises throughout the evening.

SATURDAY – We start with heart-opening yoga in the main ballroom. This yoga session is geared so everyone can participate – even if you’ve never, ever done anything like it before. Most of this will be geared toward beautiful mantras and relaxing poses that open our hearts and prepare us for the day ahead. After yoga there will be a break to change and get ready for general session.

The general session after yoga consists of lecture, coursework, meditation and group exercises – some writing and some interactive. Whether you’re at the beginning of your journey and you’ve never done anything like this before, or you’re a rock star in your area of expertise, the exercises are based on where YOU are at in your very unique and individual journey. You will be focusing on the lesson that’s right for you and needed for your next steps to transcend even more.
Saturday wraps up with a cocktail reception so you get a chance to mingle and chat with the friends you’ve made. After that, we encourage you to go have dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants nearby and reflect on the experiences you had during the day.

SUNDAY – This morning starts with another heart-opening yoga session to help you prep you for the day and soak everything you’ve learned into your soul. General session is a continuation of Saturday, and includes guest speakers to inject some serious fire into your gut and get you ready to take the steps that are waiting for you.

If I am flying in, what airport should I use?
The best option, John Wayne Airport-Orange County (SNA) is the closest to the event: 5 miles away. It is about a $20-$25 cab ride from the airport. This is the easiest and we recommend you use this airport.

Long Beach Airport (LGB) is 25 miles away. Approximately a $75-$80 cab ride.

Los Angeles International (LAX) is also an option, however it is 45 miles (about 1 hour and 30 minute cab ride), approximately $150 one way. Not Recommended.

Transportation to and from the hotel/airport will be on your own. The hotel does not provide shuttle service to and from the airport so please grab a taxi at the airport or make other arrangements. Feel free to chat with the other attendees in the group to see if anyone is coming in at the same time as you so that you can split a cab.

What should I expect from The Bliss Project?
Just like anything, what you get out of the weekend will greatly depend on your willingness to be open and participate. The majority of feedback we get is that quantum shifts are made during this one weekend. Of course, not everyone will feel those large shifts right away, and that’s perfectly normal, too. Typically after returning home (or on the trip home), those individuals have more time to reflect on their transformative weekend and realize just how much they accomplished in one short weekend.
What does the VIP Option include?
The VIP event is held outside in a beautiful rose garden with fire pits and music. I highly recommend this option as it’s a great chance to get to know the speakers and the women who you will be going through the weekend with.
What should I wear?
Attendees are urged to wear comfortable clothing, and supportive shoes. Active wear is preferred, and you are encouraged to bring clothing that can be layered to accommodate for fluctuating temperatures. There will be a short break before the Saturday evening Cocktail Hour, so that you can change or dress up if you like, anything from your favorite jeans and top to cocktail attire! This is when you will have a good chance to take pictures with Lori and other friends! **VIP Friday night event is the same dress as Saturday night; dress up if you like, anything from your favorite jeans and top to cocktail attire. Please keep in mind that the VIP Reception will be held outside so please dress accordingly.
What should I bring to the event?
Water & beverages will be provided along with some small snacks. However, it is a good idea to bring healthy snacks to tide you over between meal breaks. There will be a lunch break provided for lunch on your own; there is an abundance of restaurants within walking distance, but bringing your own lunch is also allowed. Each attendee will be given a workbook for the event. Please bring writing utensils and a notebook or journal.
Will you be serving lunch or dinner?
We will not be serving lunch however there will be a lunch break provided for lunch on your own; there are restaurants within walking distance, but bringing your own lunch is allowed and encouraged. Water & beverages will also be provided along with some small snacks. However, it is a good idea to bring healthy snacks to tide you over between meal breaks. Dinner will be on your own as well.
