I’m the kind of person who likes certainty. I can eat the same thing every day, I can do the same workouts, and take the same walks—even if I know that’s not great for me. There are of course benefits to having routines and habits, but when you start feeling like you can’t survive without those rituals, it can start to force you into a rut. If you’re feeling stuck or not creative enough, it could be that you just need to switch up the energy.
